This assembly consists of a steel ledger supporting a truss seat, anchored to the primary structure using welded headed studs. Six 3/4-inch diameter welded headed studs are provided at each truss location to transfer the load. Between the joist locations, two 3/4-inch diameter welded headed studs are spaced at a maximum of 24 inches on center. The ledger and truss seat configuration is dimensioned with a 4-inch width at the seat and a 1-foot total width for the stud grouping.
