Electrified door hardware and security devices are integrated with wall-concealed raceways routed to the ceiling line. A one-inch door contact is positioned above the door frame with lock wire routed through the door, or alternatively utilizing an integral request-to-exit sensor. A card or keypad reader is installed in a four-inch square box with a single-gang mudring at forty-eight inches above finished floor. An electrified strike connects via three-quarter-inch electrical metallic tubing conduit. All raceways are concealed within the wall cavity and routed via three-quarter-inch electrical metallic tubing to a junction box, continuing with one-inch electrical metallic tubing to the nearest accessible security-approved pathway or home-run to the wall field. A passive infrared request-to-exit sensor is mounted above the frame, and all doors and hardware are provided by others.
