A utility pipe trench integrates beneath a concrete wall and footing assembly. The concrete footing incorporates a sloped profile providing clearance over the pipe, with eight inches minimum spacing on each side and six inches of clearance to the pipe outer diameter. A side view indicates a minimum cover of one foot six inches above the pipe, with tamped sand surrounding the pipe and compacted backfill extending to the finish grade. A structural sleeve through the wall maintains a two-inch typical clearance from the pipe. Excavation limits are restricted with a no-excavation boundary established below the trench line.
