A continuous L2x2x3/16 [L51x51x4.8] steel angle edge protector is embedded flush with the corner of a reinforced concrete member. The angle is anchored by continuous 10M weldable rebar, seven inches long, spaced at sixteen inches on center and conforming to G30.18. The anchor rebar is welded to the angle with a one-quarter inch fillet weld at each anchor location. The concrete edge provides a minimum clear cover dimension of two and one-quarter inches to suit specific site conditions.
