A concrete plaza slab with level 1 elevation datum at zero feet connects to a W30 wide flange steel beam. Below this assembly, a W21x55 structural steel beam is tied in using three-quarter inch diameter A325 bolts spaced at twelve inches on center each side staggered. Additional welded connections feature a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld applied at two feet six inches staggered.
