A concrete over metal deck floor slab connects to a reinforced concrete wall for both parallel and perpendicular conditions. The parallel condition features a one-inch deflection gap and utilizes a half-inch by twenty-eight-inch by one-foot plate secured with six half-inch diameter by three-and-a-half-inch Simpson Titen HD anchors, along with a three-by-three-by-three-eighths-inch angle on each side of the wall welded with quarter-inch welds on three sides. The perpendicular condition incorporates a one-inch deflection gap and utilizes six-by-four-by-half-inch angles on each side of the wall spaced at four feet on center maximum, anchored to the metal deck with two half-inch diameter by three-and-a-half-inch Simpson Titen HD anchors.
