Cold-formed steel jamb studs frame the opening and connect to a deep leg track header. The assembly utilizes number ten sheet metal screws spaced at sixteen inches on center typically. The header web is bent to form tabs for the connection, supplemented by optional fasteners applied to each side across the full height of the sill.
