An HSS guiderail support tube attaches to the floor framing with a typical cap plate and a connection similar to detail 9/S5-102 for offset tubes. The assembly incorporates three-quarter-inch diameter A325 snug-tight bolts installed in long slot holes, providing vertical adjustment clearance. A one-inch clearance is maintained at the structural interface. The tube passes adjacent to the concrete floor slab on metal deck.
