Continuity plates are aligned with the flanges of a wide flange beam framing into a wide flange column. The plates match the width of the column flange and extend inward from the column web. Dimensions indicate typical offsets of k plus one and a half inches from the column centerline. Shear tabs and bolted connections tie the framing beam to the column web and flange.
