This structural detail shows a buckling-restrained braced frame connection framing into a steel beam at a designated work point. CoreBrace buckling-restrained braces connect via gusset plates welded to the underside of the steel beam. Stiffener plates are provided on the near side and far side as required by the brace manufacturer. All intersecting members and plates are detailed to transfer lateral loads efficiently into the framing system.
