A six-inch thick poured-in-place concrete wall extends upward to form a concrete guardrail, reinforced vertically with number five bars at ten inches on center at the centerline of the wall and horizontally with number four bars at twelve inches on center. A six-inch concrete slab ties into the wall and is reinforced with number three bars at eighteen inches on center each way, featuring number four hook bars at eighteen inches on center. The wall bears on a continuous concrete footing measuring fourteen inches deep and three feet wide, reinforced with three continuous number five bottom bars and number four bars at eighteen inches on center transversely. A finished grade line is indicated per site plan.
