A sloped structural steel beam frames into a column with a one-sided moment connection utilizing a grade 50 cap plate sized to match the column width and beam flange thickness. Grade 50 continuity plates are provided with a thickness equal to one-half the beam flange thickness, with a one-half inch minimum, sloped to match the beam. A shear tab with three bolts connects the beam web to the column. Additional information is referenced on sheet S6.1.
