An existing concrete shear wall receives a concrete shear wall overlay spanning across levels 5 through 7. The existing concrete slab intersects the wall assembly at level 215. Dowel bars or ties anchor the overlay to the existing concrete wall element along grid line 7. Additional reinforcement details are referenced on sheet S6.203.
