Pipe or conduit sleeves up to eight inches in diameter pass through a reinforced concrete wall. Sleeves maintain a minimum edge distance of one foot four inches from the end of the concrete wall. A minimum clear spacing of three times the sleeve diameter is required between adjacent sleeves. Typical horizontal wall reinforcement is maintained between sleeves and throughout the wall section. For sleeves exceeding eight inches in diameter, the engineer of record must be contacted to provide specific trim bar requirements around the opening.
