An angle brace consisting of an L3x3x1/4 member is connected where required to the open web steel joist. An L4x4x1/4 by 1'-0" plate is positioned at the panel joint, secured with 3/16 fillet welds on three sides. A perpendicular kicker angle is attached with a 1/4 fillet weld. Section A-A and kicker orientation details show the assembly alignment and connection geometry.
