A galvanized steel angle or bent plate supports a brick veneer wall assembly in front of exterior steel stud framing. The continuous support angle is welded to the web side of the stud flange at each stud with a one-eighth inch fillet weld. Exterior sheathing and sixteen-gauge continuous tracks complete the steel backup wall. Veneer anchors tie the masonry back to the structural backing per project specifications.
