This assembly consists of a checkered plate landing or platform surface with a one-inch bent nosing edge. The working point is located at the outer radius of the nosing, which is positioned at the top of the landing or platform. A maximum four-inch dimension is provided from the working point to the edge of the supporting structural member. The nosing line is established at the intersection of the landing surface and the riser plane.
