The steel collector beam connects to the structural steel column using a 20x230x960mm plate and a 20x100mm plate with an 8mm fillet weld. The column features 16mm stiffeners on both sides, top and bottom, secured with a 10mm fillet weld. A 10mm fillet weld attaches the connection plates to the column. A beam splice connection is located nearby per drawing 1/S6.3. The top of slab workpoint is indicated relative to the beam centerline.
