A structural steel column base plate connection is set within a concrete slab pocket. The assembly features a Grade 50 base plate measuring two and one-half inches thick and sized as shown, secured by ten two-inch diameter ASTM F1554 Grade 105 anchor bolts equipped with three-quarter by four by zero-feet four-inch washers and double nuts. The steel column is positioned per the elevation drawings. Anchor bolts require a minimum thread projection of one-half inch above the top of each nut. A slab control joint reference is provided for coordination.
