A hollow structural section stanchion measuring ten inches by zero point three one two inches by one foot eight inches connects to a structural slab per plan and a wearing slab with waterproofing per arch. A six-inch pipe brace frames into a WT six by twenty by zero foot seven inch stub with a three-eighths-inch work point plate, secured using one-quarter-inch and five-sixteenths-inch fillet welds. An expansion board surrounds the penetration through the wearing slab and structural layers. All exposed structural steel is galvanized per project notes.
