This assembly consists of a raised concrete housekeeping pad supported by a concrete slab-on-grade. The pad is reinforced with number four reinforcing bars spaced at sixteen inches on center each way. The pad is anchored to the existing slab using number three dowels spaced at sixteen inches on center, which are installed by drilling into the slab and securing with epoxy at a minimum embedment of three inches. The height of the pad is determined by mechanical or architectural requirements as indicated on the project plans.
