A continuous steel angle ledger measuring 5 inches by 3-1/2 inches by 3/8 inches with long leg vertical is anchored to a concrete wall at a maximum spacing of 6 feet on center. Two welded stud anchors are placed at each angle. A continuous number 5 reinforcing bar runs horizontally within the concrete wall behind the anchorage. A metal deck floor slab bears on the ledger angle with puddle welds specified at 12 inches on center.
