Parapet wind load design criteria for both windward and leeward load cases. Windward Load Case A combines positive wall pressure with negative roof pressure to yield net pressures of 120 pounds per square foot in the field and 151 pounds per square foot at the corners. Leeward Load Case B combines positive and negative wall pressures resulting in net pressures of 79 pounds per square foot in the field and 89 pounds per square foot at the corners. Pressures are evaluated assuming a velocity pressure at the top of the parapet per ASCE 7 section 30.8. Net parapet loads include contributions from both faces while excluding internal pressures.
