A quarter-inch by fifteen-inch by two-foot-three-inch plate designated as S1 anchors to the top of a concrete masonry unit bond beam with four three-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchors having three and a quarter-inch minimum embedment at twelve inches on center in the deck flute. An L4x3x5/16 by one-foot-long angle connects to the plate with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds at each end of the angle. A typical top-of-wall gap is maintained between the deck and the wall assembly.
