A T150 cold-formed steel track connects to a structural steel beam via continuous bent plates secured with number ten sheet metal screws on each side. The steel beam has a minimum bearing of two inches and alternate bent plate locations spaced per plan. The top and bottom tracks feature gages matching the stud, with vertical clearances dimensioned up to six feet six inches maximum.
