A cast-in-place concrete pilaster integrates into a concrete basement wall, constructed using shotcrete or cast-in-place methods at the contractor's option. The pilaster measures one foot by one foot in cross-section and is reinforced with eight number eight vertical bars. Number four ties are spaced at twelve inches on center with alternate hooks at the cross ties. The assembly aligns with a structural grid line and accommodates a wide-flange column above centered on the wall and pilaster.
