An open-web steel joist connects to a structural column utilizing a bolted seat angle assembly, maintaining a top of steel elevation sized per plan. A stub beam frames into the opposite side of the column with a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld, extending a maximum of two feet zero inches from the column face. The connection details transfer framing loads directly into the central structural column support.
