Back-to-back jamb studs are framed beneath a slotted deflection track. Two number eight fasteners are installed in each leg, leaving them unattached through the vertical slots. An 800S162-54 member measuring zero feet six inches is placed on each side of the back-to-back jamb studs without attaching directly to the jamb or stud framing.
