Roof trusses frame into a supporting beam aligned with the grid column below, carrying a roof deck per plan. The connection utilizes a special single extended plate beam connection type A, secured with typical bolted configurations. A one-half-inch typical clearance is maintained at the beam end and connection interface. Trusses and beams are sized per plan and bear over the structural support elements.
