A masonry foundation wall bears on a continuous concrete footing with stepped profiles. Vertical reinforcing dowels match the vertical reinforcement and extend into the footing. Horizontal reinforcing bars run continuously through the masonry course. Z-bars match the continuous footing reinforcement and tie into the concrete footing. Transverse reinforcement is provided in the vertical footing to match the footing transverse reinforcement.
