A Corebrace buckling-restrained brace connects to a structural steel column and a structural steel beam through a gusset plate. Stiffener plates are provided near side and far side as required by the brace manufacturer. Welds secure the gusset plate to the column and beam flanges, with weld sizes and lengths designated by variable callouts. The connection geometry is centered on a defined work point at the intersection of the framing centerlines.
