A square cast-in-place concrete column section reinforced with eight vertical bars and internal ties sized per schedule. The concrete cover maintains one and one-half inches of clear distance to the ties. Alternate hooks are provided on the interior ties. Each corner of the column features a one-inch chamfer. General notes specify doweling to the footing with standard hooks and lapping column reinforcement per detail twelve on sheet S0.10.
