Post-installed dowel connections anchor concrete housekeeping pads and curbs to an existing concrete slab on grade. The housekeeping pad assembly utilizes number four reinforcing bars spaced at eighteen inches on center each way within the pad, tied to the supporting slab via number four dowels placed at eighteen inches on center at the perimeter and eight feet on center at the interior. The concrete curb detail incorporates a single continuous number four horizontal reinforcing bar anchored into the slab with number four dowels at eighteen inches on center. Both details indicate standard embedment depths and edge clearances into the concrete slab on grade.
