A stair stringer connects to a hollow structural section beam using a 1/4-inch by 4-inch by 0'-6-inch plate on each side of the HSS beam with erection bolts as required. A ledger angle references detail 6 on sheet S650 for additional support below the concrete over metal deck assembly. Fillet welds with a size of 1/4 inch feature a 2-inch return at the top and bottom.
