A continuous hollow structural section measuring 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches by 1/4 inch spans above steel bar joists and is supported by a steel angle ledger anchored to a precast concrete wall panel. The steel angle ledger is welded to the continuous HSS member with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld on three sides. Plywood sheathing spans across the framing with an eighteen-gauge by two-inch wide continuous galvanized steel strap fastened on top with two rows of boundary screws in nailing zones F or higher, secured with three-sixteenths-inch welds as typically indicated. Steel bar joists sit below the continuous HSS member and sheathing assembly, with nailers detailed separately.
