An anchor bolt embedded in concrete specifies required embedment depths corresponding to bolt sizes ranging from one-half inch to one inch in diameter. A companion table details the minimum embedment depth for each bolt size, establishing requirements from five inches up to seven inches. Minimum bolt spacing is twelve bolt diameters with a minimum edge distance of six diameters. A two-inch minimum embedment applies unless otherwise noted.
