The assembly features a wide flange beam connected to a vertical member with a welded plate and erection bolts, adjacent to a roof deck. A structural angle (L4x4x3/8) and an HSS 5x5 column member are incorporated, with Section A-A providing an expanded view of the bolted gusset plate and channel connection. Fillet welds and high-strength bolts are specified throughout the structural steel connection.
