A cast-in-place concrete stair section bears on ninety percent compacted fill with a reinforced concrete footing. The stair run is reinforced with number three bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way, supplemented by number three nosing bars typically placed at each tread and riser corner. The bottom of the stair terminates at a ten-inch minimum concrete footing reinforced with two number four longitudinal bars. A connecting concrete slab bears adjacent to the stair footing over compacted fill. Exact step profiles and architectural finishes are coordinated per architectural drawings.
