Precast concrete panels connect using embedded half-inch plates welded with quarter-inch fillets on each side and reinforced by two number eight bars measuring four feet long per side. Additional anchorage is provided by a three-quarter-inch by one-and-a-half-inch by one-foot-four-inch steel plate embedded within the blockout area. Blockouts are filled and patched after connection assembly. Section A-A shows the concrete panel thickness and recess profile.
