A structural steel column bears on a Grade 50 two-and-a-half-inch base plate secured by twelve two-inch diameter ASTM F1554 Grade 105 anchor bolts equipped with three-quarter by four by four-inch plate washers and double nuts. The column and baseplate assembly sits within a concrete slab pocket sized per elevation. A minimum thread projection of one-half inch must be maintained above the top of each nut. Slab control joints are referenced to a separate detail.
