A CoreBrace buckling restrained brace connects to a wide flange steel column and a concrete grade beam or foundation. The brace features a bolted lug connection pinned to a gusset plate, with stiffener plates provided as required by the manufacturer design. The steel column sits on a base plate with anchor bolts embedded into the concrete foundation. A concrete blockout is detailed around the column base within the concrete slab on grade.
