A precast concrete wall panel connects to the primary structure with embedded reinforcing bars and a welded wire mesh assembly. The wire mesh is tack-welded to the steel and the pocket is filled with drypack grout. A 3-inch clearance is maintained at the top embedded bar, with a 4-inch dimension governing the vertical alignment. A 3/4-inch joint gap separates the stacked precast panels at the horizontal bearing interface.
