A rectangular steel column base plate measuring one-half inch thick features four one and five-sixteenths inch diameter holes for anchorage. The assembly is secured by four three-quarter inch diameter Type VII anchor bolts arranged symmetrically around the structural column. A one-quarter inch fillet weld attaches the column profile to the base plate.
