Vertical 600S162-54 metal studs are spaced at sixteen inches on center typically, with diagonal 600S162-43 metal stud braces spaced at sixteen inches on center. Each end of the diagonal brace is secured with three number ten sheet metal screws. Continuous 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch by 18 gauge angles are fastened to each stud flange using number ten sheet metal screws. The assembly interfaces with a soffit constructed per detail 20 on sheet S0.6.
