A rooftop unit curb is supported over a structural steel roof joist by a steel channel located within the deck flutes as shown. A tapered block sits between the channel and the roof curb assembly. A one-eighth inch weld connects elements through the roof deck. The actual configuration of the frame to support the mechanical unit is to be supplied by the mechanical engineer.
