An angle frame constructed from L5x3x1/4 structural steel angles supports a skylight opening within a roof framing layout of open web steel joists or steel beams sized per plans. Typical three-sixteenths inch fillet welds secure the angle framing components together, with option B trim applied to the vertical leg at the joist as an alternate construction method. The roof deck welds directly to the surrounding angle framing as specified in the drawing notes.
