This cold-formed steel hanging wall assembly is anchored overhead to the building structure using continuous forty-three mil tracks at the top and bottom with one and one-half inch deep flanges. Forty-three mil by one and five-eighths inch flange metal studs are spaced at sixteen inches on center, with wall thickness verified per architectural drawings. A four hundred S one sixty-two by forty-three strongback is fastened to the studs with two number ten sheet metal screws. A six hundred S one sixty-two by forty-three strongback brace is installed diagonally at four feet on center and secured with two number ten sheet metal screws at each brace where the length exceeds eight feet. Four number ten sheet metal screws connect the structural components at the base of the diagonal brace.
