The assembly connects a vertical fin panel to a horizontal spandrel panel using a bent plate measuring 3/8 inch by 14 inches by 1 foot 8 inches long. This bent plate is secured with two 3/4 inch diameter by 6 inch long heavy-duty sleeve anchors and two 1/2 inch diameter by 24 inch long deformed bar anchors spaced at 48 inches on center, with embeds offset on each side by 24 inches. An L4x4x3/8 inch angle, 1 foot 6 inches long, is positioned at the embed. The connection is completed with 1/4 inch fillet welds, 3 to 6 inches long, applied typically with 1 inch returns at the top and bottom. A separate 3/8 inch by 10 inch by 1 foot 8 inch plate connects the spandrel panel to the full-height panel using similar anchor configurations.
