Continuous reinforcement must be maintained through the joint without splicing within two feet of the joint. Bulkheads are staggered by four feet and shaped to fit the steel deck profile. Concrete fill placement is limited to a maximum of one hundred sixty feet in any direction, with a minimum of three days required between adjacent placements.
