A stair stringer with treads and risers bears on a concrete slab supported by geofoam fill. An embed plate at the curb and stair stringer anchors the assembly to the four-inch concrete slab reinforced with number four bars at sixteen inches on center each way at mid-depth. A concrete wall below features vertical number four dowels matching wall size and spacing with standard hooks, alongside horizontal number four bars at sixteen inches on center centered in the wall. Additional vertical number four bars at sixteen inches on center are anchored using drill and epoxy with three and a half inches of effective embedment into the slab on grade below.
